Yellow Jacket

My personal character concept for a power suit sniper. Coming in at a little over 4600 tris, this model was meant to be used in a semi-minimalistic setting. The model was done completely by hand in Autodesk Maya, with texture work completed in Substance, high-poly baking meshes in Zbrush, and a custom rig with controls, painted weights, and animations also in Autodesk Maya. Provided renders were made with Marmoset Toolbag.

Yellow Jacket is the name of the anti-material rifle on the character's back which is meant to be wielded by taller, automated, cybernetic personnel. With the help of her suit, the character is capable of using weaponry not exactly meant for her. An ability that's essential in the age against machines. With ongoing use of the rifle, its name became hers as well.
